Read the intro and started the beginning chapter...before I dozed last night. So far nothing too exciting!
ReplyDeleteAs for the book cover- I am assuming we answer the Lit Circle Questions here? The cover did nothing for me...in fact I didn't even see the cover before choosing the book. The topic interested me as I have a fear and concern that students are not engagaged as learners and the tradtional school of yesteryear is not applicable these days...but nothing is changing too quickly. So, bottom line is the image did not attract me to read the book the text was what drew me in.

Ok here I go. I see an old blog that I started several years ago popped up when I joined this class. Guess it's OK to use that for this class. So RJ, you get to be first and I get to be second. Just what are we supposed to do ---read those pages and write a summary for the rest of our group??
